Sewing Machine Salesperson
The Sewing Studio Fabric Superstore is looking for an experienced sewing machines sales person.  We carry a full line of Babylock and Brother sewing machines, embroidery machines and sergers. We are consistantly ranked among the top single location sewing machine retailers in the nation.  We are looking for someone who has experience in all three fields of machines (sewing, embroidery & serging).

Job Description:

• Greet customers 
  
• Demo sewing machines, embroidery machines and sergers
• Sell sewing machines, embroidery machines and sergers
• Write up sales and handle all pertaining paperwork
• Organize machine department

Job Requirements:

• Experience with sewing machines, embroidery machines and sergers
• Sales experience; MOTIVATED sales person
• Embroidery digitizing experience is a plus
• Enthusiastic about the sewing industry
• Lift and carry sewing machines
• Know the basics of maintaining a sewing machine
• Detail Oriented
• Organize and document paperwork
• Professional work ethic and communication skills

Must be able to work nights and weekends as well as off site sewing events. Position available is currently part time but may lead to full time. The position is paid hourly plus commission. 

Sewing Class Instructor
The Sewing Studio Fabric Superstore is looking for a sewing class instructor.  We offer a variety of classes from begginners to advanced sewing techniques. We are looking to expand our class schedule and offer more Sewing Basics I and Sewing Basics II classes. Class room occupancy ranges between 4 and 12 students depending on the class. Sewing Basics I & II Classes are 2 1/2 hours long and are taught once a day (night) for a period of four weeks. 

Job Description:

• Prepare class supply list
• Prepare class model (depending on type of class)
• Arrive early to prepare classroom for students
• Instruct Class
• Tidy up classroom at classes end

Job Requirements:

• Sewing experience
• Enthusiastic about the sewing
• Know the basics of a sewing machine
• Works well with others
• Teach experience is a plus
• Detail Oriented
• Professional work ethic and communication skills

Part time position. The position is paid hourly.
